plane was nicely packaged. No damage. the nice thing about this plane is that it's already factory hinged, control rods installed, fuel tank plumbed and installed, and the cowl is already mounted. The canopy was a little bit of a job getting the pilot in and canopy glued but, I added a few screws to make sure it stays on. This ARF is easy to put together. they give you everything you need, nice hardware kit.
It is also good quality throughout. Factory glue joints are well glued unlike some.

This thing is definably light weight. i cant believe how light it was when i picked it up all put together other than the motor. they say it flies like a foamie. i guess we will see.

Waiting on a motor. let you know more later. I'll get some pics also.

Got a DL50 coming! Digital on elevator's. From everything i read about it and some testimonials from other owners, the 50 is more than enough to power out of a hover.

With the 50 this plane will weigh in at 16.5 pounds. pretty light for as big as it is

Done. This plane's weight with a DL50, 1 - 3300Mah nickle metal, and 1 - 2000Mah NM for ignition is ----- 16.6 lbs. I have a 22x6 prop right now and it is producing 22.6 lbs of thrust.
I enjoyed putting this together. with a little help from Jim we both saw how nicely Hanger 9 did to produce a quality product. We will see how she flies as soon as the weather breaks.

maiden'ed plane today! Flew like a foamy on steroids. I actually had to dial down the factory recommended low rates. DL5o with 22x8 prop flew fine. plane would hover and pull out. harriers, flat spins, waterfalls, blenders rolling harriers all flew great. I was able to pull off an ugly knife edge loop. Best plane i have ever flown.

3 flights nothing came loose everything seems fine.
